Federer – Paire

In the second round of the tournament in Basel, the forces will be ranked as the first bearer of the tournaments by R. Federer and Franc B. Paire. For the second round of the tournament, Federer managed to beat F. Tiafoe without a lost set, while Paire was better than the American John S. Johnson.

R. Federer
Federer is next to Nadala’s most successful tennis player this season. The Swiss has managed to return to the top of the ATP ranking and is currently occupying a second position just behind Nadal. In the last 19 years of his career Federer has managed to win 94 titles, six of which are from this season. Of these six titles were two of Grand Slams, the Australian Open and Wimbledon, and three of the Masters tournaments in Indian Wells, Miami and Shanghai.
In the remaining sixth title, Federer won the tournament in Halle, where he beat A. Zverev in the final match. Based on his current ratio of 44 wins and only four defeats, we could say that Switzerland is almost all the tournaments he played at and won. The exception was the tournament in Dubai, Stuttgart, Monteral and the US Opena, where he experienced unexpected defeats by T. Berdych, T. Haas, A. Zvereva and J.M. Del Potra.

B. Paire
Unlike Federer, Paire has experienced a fall in the season this season and is currently in the 40th position of the ATP ranking. The best thing to say about the fall is that Paire was the 18th ATP ranking at the beginning of last season. The only title of his career so far was France’s choice in 2015 at the Bastadu tournament and then managed to beat T. Robred in the final match.
In addition to this, the fact that Paire had achieved a 30:29 win and defeat ratio this season, and the best result of the season, had a home tournament in Metz, where he was defeated by P. Gojowczyka in the final. After that, Paire had three consecutive defeats to the tournament in Basel. In addition to this finals, the Frenchman played a few more semi-finals at the 250th tournaments, and was also worth mentioning the fourth round of Wimbledon, which was stopped by A. Murray.

R. Federer – B. Paire Tip
All four games so far played between these two tennis players have been to Federer. Interestingly, Paire has never been able to win a single set, and this season they met at the tournament in Dubai, where Federer enjoyed a convincing win with the result (6: 1 6: 3). On the basis of all this, it is clear that Federer applies for a great favorite not only in this match but also in the whole tournament. That is why we expect him to win a light victory in front of his supporters.
