I’m starting with the very first match on offer, the one between Nets and Pelicans, the second direct encounter between the two bands this season.
In the first Pelicans they won so clearly, score 128-113, but they also contributed to the DeMarcus Cousins, the injured two weeks ago and will be absent all season. Since then, the Pelicans have won only one match and lost 5, including Philadelphia last night, when they could not do anything in the field, being led in quarter 3 and more than 30 points.
Nets are trying to get rid of the four consecutive defeats and the game is ok in the last few weeks, but something is missing in the end. Before this black series, Crabbe & co. have won at home with good teams like Miami Heat or Philadelphia 76ers, but the constant is what Brooklyn is missing. Today I give them the first chance of “underdog”, I like their value at home, against a tired and inexperienced team.
Pont: Brooklyn Nets +6.5 points @ 1.50
