Next week there are two 500 category tournaments that are played in Basel and Vienna. It will also be the last form check before the last Masters 1000 Series tournament to be played in Paris. For the first analysis, we picked up the first round of the tournament in Vienna, where Domestic tennis player D. Thiem and Rus A. Rublev will meet. The last year’s winner of this tournament was A. Murray, and the final match was beaten by J.W. Tsonga.

D. Thiem
Thiem is the best Austrian tennis player who has reached the 6th position in the ATP ranking seven days ago, and is also his best career rating. Up to now, the Austrians have managed to win eight ATP titles, the last of which came from the Rio de Janeiro tournament season, where they won P. Carreno-Busto in the final. Though this is the only title from this season, Thiem has made good progress at major tournaments, where he collected a lot of ATP points.
So on the US Open he played the fourth round in which he was better than J.M. Del Potro, and at Masters in Cincinnati, he stopped at the quarterfinals by D. Ferrera. Fourth round left he could not even win at Wimbledon, where he lost to T. Berdych after five sets. In addition to the aforementioned title from Rio de Janeiro, Thiem had very good results in Barcelona and Madrid, where he played finals in which he was better than R. Nadal

A. Rublev
Rublev is a 20-year-old Russian tennis player who has drawn attention to this season by winning the first ATP title he has won at the tournament in Umag where he was able to beat P. Lorenzo in the final. Most of the season Rubley performed at Challenger, and when it came to ATP Tour, he managed to win 18 wins with 13 defeats. At the Viennese tournament, Rublev arrived as the 35th world player, and this is also his best career rating.
In addition to the mentioned title from Umag, Rublev was one of the best results this year at US Open, where he reached the quarterfinals in which he was stopped by R. Nadala. The last best performance he had at the tournament in Beijing, where he made his appearance in the quarterfinals in which he was completely outstretched by A. Zverev.

D. Thiem – A. Rublev Tip
This is the first duel between two young tennis players. By all that we have mentioned so far, it is clear that Thiem has a lot better results. However, Ruble has occasionally played excellent games, but his results are only expected in the coming seasons. That is why we believe that Thiem should be shown to his fans by deserving this high ranking at the ATP ranking and expecting his victory and with a lower handicap in the number of winning gems.
