FC Midtjylland – AGF Preview and Prediction (27.11.2017)

Home-strong FCM is in excellent shape with 22 of 24 possible points in recent matches. AGF got their first point under David Nielsen with a victory over Silkeborg, but was weakened by injury and quarantine. Value in home victory?

It speaks for a victory for FC Midtjylland:
FCM has really found the melody and is so much involved in the championship struggle with 22 points in the last 8 matches and a goal score of 22-7.
David Nielsen did not get the desired start in AGF when it won the first four matches (1-11) before they got the first victory last weekend.
When they met in Aarhus 2 months ago, FCM won a very safe victory of 3-0 and they should have a mental takeover.
The FCM is very strong on their own grass, where they have scored 22 of 24 points in the season, and AGF has just scored 7 points in 7 weeks.
AGF has absence problems as one is still without goalkeeper Jovanovic, while the midfield is without Guira and Amini, and Juel Andersen is still out.
FCM has in Sørloth and Onuachu two big, strong, and not least target attackers, which can be a big mouthful for AGF’s defense.

It speaks for points to AGF:
The relegation victory in the last round against Silkeborg must have a lot of confidence in the AGF squad, and that may be what makes them go.
The FCM continues to pick up many points, but they do it in less convincing ways than a few weeks ago.
Jess Thorup has never trained David Nielsen, and while the latter is in a new team, it can be tactically integrated.
Mustapha Bundu made a very nice match against Silkeborg, and he can contribute positively to the attack, as Duncan also got on the scoreboard again.
AGF has left Daniel A. Pedersen back from quarantine, which is important to Amini and Guira.
