Khimky MR – Crvena Zvezda – A meeting between Podgorica and Euroliga returnees, Russian Khimky and Belgrade Red Star, we open the third round and the first Euroliga week where we expect a double program. Khimky played the first two games in his field and got both, while Zvezda was 1-1. And in the interdependent duels so far, the ratio is 1-1.

After just a year’s break, Khimky returned to Euroleague and signed two introductory domestic victories – Valencia 75:70 and Zalgiris 85:77. The most expensive European basketball player, Shved, has entered 19, and the center with NBA Robinson experience 16 points and six rebounds in the duel against Valencia. Against Zalgiris, interestingly, he replaced Robinson, with 10 rebounds, and 19 points, and Shved 16 points.
Robinson is the top 24 player of the Russian team’s index, and it is interesting that Jenkins, who arrived just from Zvezda (averaging 20.38 minutes), did not enter the shooters in the first two rounds. He has three assists and two rebounds and stolen balls somehow justified the reputation of a good defensive player. Play Markovic, who once played in Zvezda, recorded 8.5 points and 5.5 assists.

Crvena Zvezda
Zvezda, after a shocking defeat at Zalgiris (76:78), when Rochestie missed the “three” for victory, in the last round on his field and for the second time consecutively sensationally won Barcelona favorably (90:82). Rochestie had 22 points, seven assists and three rebounds were the best (index 27), but the best and most efficient was Bjelica with 23 points. Bjelica has 23.5 points and is the most efficient in Euroliga.
While Euroliga start can be characterized as successful, two consecutive defeats in the ABA league, after three introductory triumphs, were never planned. After the home defeat of Budućnost (75:79), Sunday were defeated at Cedevita (74:79). Rochestie scored 20 points, Bjelica 12, and Antić and Feldeina for 11. Lessort played only seven minutes. Dangubić for injury has not yet played in Euroliga.

In the last Euro League clash in his field, in October 2015, Khimky celebrated with 91:53 against Zvezda, but they were defeated at home with 91:96. Zvezda has certainly been spent more than hosts so we type a handicap on Khimky.
