Montreal Canadiens-Columbus Blue Jackets Preview and Prediction (28.11.2017)

Montreal has been disappointing
This NHL season has offered a lot of surprises and disappointments, unfortunately Montreal Canadiens falls within the latter category. 15 losses on 24 played matches make for a modest 14th place in the Eastern Conference table, a location that does not really match the team’s final game ambitions. How could it be so wrong? In particular, the Canadians have shown a purely untrue defense game, or say about 80 (!) Goals scored on 24 games played? Only Buffalo Sabers (83) and Arizona Coyotes (95) have released more goals, and then we talk about two teams that are currently writing the last in their respective divisions.
Montreal comes from a 3-0 victory against the Buffalo Saber last, a victory I would not hang in the grain right away. Before that, the Canadians had five straight losses, including a home loss against the series, by far, the worst team of Arizona Coyotes. Inatt expects a roughly hard home game against a formidable Columbus Blue Jacket, and given the shape and class distinction that prevails, there is not much that speaks for the home team.

Columbus goes against seventh straight
Columbus has convinced big this season. 15 wins of 23 possible have been collected and we find the team on a third place in the Eastern Conference Division, with one point up to the New Jersey Devils and three points up to Tampa Bay Lightning at the first place. A seasonality that definitely exceeded the expectations of the team ahead of the season. In particular, John Tortorella’s men have shown a rugged stable defensive, or say about 50 in 24 played matches? Extremely impressive numbers. In fact, Columbus has dropped miss goals of all teams in the Eastern Conference, and that is a matter of course. If we look at the table in its entirety, it’s only San José Sharks who released less goals (50), but then it should be added that Columbus played two more matches.
At least, the form of the day is superb with six straight wins in the luggage. In two of the last four matches, the company has managed to keep zero, really impressive considering the resistance was still the New York Rangers and Calgary Flames. On the whole, Columbus is an incredibly stable and hard-played team, the defense game has convinced big at the same time as the offensive, with Artemi Panarin in the lead, delivering purposefully. Nice victory chances against a hard-judged and silly Montreal inatt.
