After a four-match long lap tour, of which loss in the last three games, it is finally time for Islanders to play in front of home champion again. A long-awaited home game? No question about it. A better opportunity to reverse the negative trend is probably not found. At home in the Barclays Center, Islanders are ruggedly strong, with eight wins of 11 possible. Seven of these winnings have been collected during regular playing time, while only one lost during the regular playing time. At Hemmais you will be offered a fast-paced offensive hockey, a home section of 4.55 goals / match underlines the fact. Feel definitely stressed that the home team has its strength in the home game. Tavares, Bailey, Barzal and Lee continue to show off in the offensive. Excellent location to climb on the track again after a tough road tour.
For Washington’s part it is once again time for away match after four straight home matches. When all four home matches resulted in victory – all during regular playtime, of which the three last matches with at least two goals – we can clearly state that you get to this match with wind in the sail. Washington, like Islanders, is a team with the greatest strength in the home game – in Capital One Arena, it’s hard to beat. The offensive in its entirety is terrific with Ovechkin, Kuznetsov and Backström. On the move, it has been quite heavy with only six wins of 13 possible, but at the same time you score 2,93 goals / match. In general, the form is seven winnings in the last eight games – we are definitely talking about a team of all the ingredients needed to measure purposefully with Islanders at Hemmais.

Islanders at Hemmais usually involve swinging, entertaining and, not least, goal-setting events. Islanders have crossed the 5.5-line in 20 of 29 matches this season, at the Barclays Center, the same line in nine of 11 played matches – home to 82% of all home matches. A target of 4.55 goals / match says itself, while letting in excessive goals.
Washington, as I mentioned above, hard to win matches on the go – but goal-oriented, you really get up. On the whole, Caps has crossed the 5.5 line in 17 out of 30 matches this season, on the other hand, on the other hand, you’ve crossed the finish line in 10 of 13 games – a score equivalent to 77% of all matches. A lot of goals ahead, a lot of goals were released.
On the whole, there are two teams with their strengths in the offensive – it is undoubtedly set for a goaly story, where the home team aim at breaking a three-match long loss sweat.
